Sweey Potato Custard


1 cup cooked, mashed candy potato

½ cup mashed banana (about 2 small)

1 cup evaporated skim milk

2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

2 overwhelmed egg yolks (or I’A-cup egg substitute)

½ teaspoon salt

½  cup raisins

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon floor cinnamon

Non-stick cooking spray

1- In a medium bowl, stir collectively candy potato and banana. Add milk, mixing properly. Add brown sugar, egg yolks, and salt, mixing totally.

2- Spray a 1-quart casserole with non-stick spray coat-ing. Switch candy potato combination to casserole.

Three- Mix raisins, sugar, and cinnamon; sprinkle over high of candy potato combination. Bake in a pre¬heated 300° F oven for 45 to 50 minutes or till a knife inserted close to middle comes out clear.

The deep orange colour of candy potatoes is an indication that they’re an excellent supply of vitamin A and the antioxidant beta-carotene. Vitamin A and beta-carotene are good on your pores and skin.

1 angel meals cake

1 pint blueberries

2 pints strawberries

1 bundle strawberry glaze (1 cup ready)

1 pint blackberries

1 lemon (sliced)

1- Bake or purchase an angel meals cake.

2- Minimize tops off one pint of strawberries. Mix with V pint of blackberries, V pint of blueberries, and strawberry glaze. Reserve remaining berries for garnish.

Three- Combine properly in order that berries are totally coated with glaze.

Four- To serve, spoon V to % cup of glazed berry combination over every slice of cake. Garnish every slice with a slice of lemon and some unglazed berries.

10 slices entire wheat bread

1 egg

Three egg whites ½ cups skim milk ½ cup granulated sugar ½ cup brown sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract V2 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg ½ teaspoon cloves

½ teaspoons sugar

APPLE RAISIN SAUCE 1% cups apple juice

½ cup apple butter

2 tablespoons molasses

½ cup raisins

½ teaspoon floor cinnamon

½ teaspoon floor nutmeg

½ teaspoon orange peel (non-compulsory)

1-Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spray an Eight-inch x Eight-inch baking dish with vegetable oil spray. Lay the slices of bread within the baking dish in two rows, overlapping them like shingles.

2- In a medium mixing bowl, beat collectively the egg, egg whites, milk, cup sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Pour the egg combination over the bread.

Three- In a small bowl, stir collectively the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and a couple of teaspoons sugar. Sprinkle the spiced sugar over the bread pudding. Bake the pudding for 30 to 35 minutes, till it has browned on high and is agency to the contact.
